The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The view from our room was stunning. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel has a restaurant on site (and offers 10% off the bill for staying in the hotel) and had a wonderful area with a fire pit outside to relax. We visited during the winter so we didn't get to use this but seeing it made us want to come back during the warmer months. The hot tub and pool were perfect for relaxation after a long day of hiking in the national parks.

We booked the cathedral 2Q room and it was fabulous. The cathedral room was remodeled in the past few yrs and love the view of the mountains. The restaurant served very good food and many healthy selections. Jason the waiting staff is friendly and efficient! We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast there. The pool/hot tub had a great view and the garage style overhead door (entire side of the pool room) was half open so we had fresh air circulation. It was a fab stay and highly recommend.

And the south-facing view of the mountains was breath-taking. The desk clerk was so friendly/personable and accommodating. She made the experience very easy. And she was new! So kudos to her excellent hospitality.

It was great having a couple options besides eggs, pancakes, etc. Salad greens were very fresh and crisp, and fresh fruit was wonderful - especially in a tiny town in canyon country!
